I’ve been working on a line of organic baby onesies. Frankly – I am getting a bit tired of the bunny..kitty…blocks…and other silly kids’ designs so I thought I would try a classic alphabet theme…with a modern twist. I am loving the plum and chocolate color scheme…how about you?

My daughter just turned five and decided that she loves to cook. She can make a mean Hamburger Helper already! (A girl after my own heart). A stained shirt…and pair of jeans later – I decided it was time to get her a cute little apron. So I made one, just for her. Suddenly, I’ve found a new little hobby for myself – making kids aprons. I’ve always been passionate about crafting so I thought I’d make a crafting design…and since I am a really messy cook – I created some fun designs for moms too. Check them out! A month before giving birth to my second child I remember frantically searching for the perfect "big sister" t-shirt. There were lots to choose from…only I felt like they were a bit "cutesy" for my taste…(lots of butterflies, pastels, duckies…etc). Blech.
So, I grabbed a marker and some iron-on transfer paper & made a custom shirt just for my proud little girl.
Now that I am "officially" a t-shirt designer, I decided to focus a bit on some fun "big brother / sister" shirts that have a bit of an edge.
Here are the first two….a little bit "whimsey" a little bit rock-n-roll.

It’s been a busy day. I just launched a second gallery on Zazzle.com that will feature my line of children’s clothing & designs. Here are the first three additions…with a bunch more to come!
Is the economy getting you down? Me too. I opened our retirement statement this morning and I was “just a little crabby”. (Okay – I was po’d..but that doesn’t make a good kids’ shirt, does it?).
Anyway – to lighten the mood a bit…I started drawing and created this silly little crab. I thought he would look good on a kids’ t-shirt….
So…”wa-la” - here it is! =) I feel better now, do you?
