I had the opportunity to paint a dear friend’s “pup-in-law” recently and I was quickly reminded how much I’ve  missed working on dog-paintings!  Life has beenbusy lately but I am committed to setting aside a few hours in the evenings to work on my digital pup-paintings!

*** Update: I am currently working on “one dog at a time” photos.  I have two pups on my own and trust me, I appreciate anyone who is able to successfully take a good photo of two (or more) pups together, but at this time…please send me separate pics of your pups! 

A “headshot” is typically best for the type of work that I do with a minimal background.  Please keep in mind that it takes me several hours (and sometimes a few days) to complete my work and I may not choose your photo to work with.  If I choose your photo, I will ask that you sign a release so that I can use the original on my blog as a “before and after”.
